We collect information to provide, personalize, and improve our AI homework tutoring and roasting services:

• Homework Camera Uploads & Text Input: Images of math equations, handwritten science notes, essay prompts, or typed text questions submitted by you for OCR parsing and AI solution generation.
• Device & Usage Metrics: Device model, operating system version, app interaction logs, crash reports, and anonymized IP address to maintain system stability.
• Account & Subscription Information: Email address, user preferences, and in-app purchase status processed securely via Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

2. How We Process AI Data & OCR

When you capture or upload a homework problem, the image is transmitted securely over SSL encryption to our high-performance OCR and AI inference servers. Uploaded images are processed solely to extract readable mathematical notation, text, or figures needed to generate step-by-step solutions and comedic roasts. Images are processed transiently and are not tied to public identity profiles.

3. Data Protection & No Sale Policy

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade student personal data or uploaded homework content to third-party ad networks. All data transfers are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 standards.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)

RoastMyHomework is designed for high school and university students. If you are under 13 years of age (or under 16 in certain EU jurisdictions), you may only use our service under the direct supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or educational institution.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have full ownership of your personal data. You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your stored interaction logs.
• Request immediate deletion of your account and saved homework solution history.
• Opt-out of non-essential usage telemetry.
